Blazers Women's Soccer Add to their Attack with Millan

The CMU Women's Soccer program is very pleased to announce the commitment of Juliana Millan for the 2024-25 MCAC season. The Colombian-born forward is excited to get back on the pitch with the Blazers after two years of study at the University of Manitoba.

A graduate of Glenlawn Collegiate in 2022, Millan featured on her varsity Lions team from her grade nine year all the way through to her graduating year, co-captaining the squad for her final two years there. The left-footed striker or left winger was a force to be reckoned with on the attacking side of the ball during the short high school season. A multi-sport athlete, Millan also played volleyball and badminton while at Glenlawn, making her both proficient on the turf as well as the court.

Women's Soccer Bring in Perennial Champion Desrosiers

The CMU Women's Soccer program is very pleased to announce the commitment of Keirra Desrosiers for the 2024/25 MCAC season. The Pierre-Elliott Trudeau Canadienne will take her talents across town from the East End to Tuxedo to suit up for the Blazers this fall.

A multi-sport student-athlete, Desrosiers represents her high school Canadiennes during both the outdoor and indoor soccer seasons as well as on the hardcourt with the varsity girls volleyball team. College Pierre-Elliott Trudeau competes at the "AAA" level of Manitoba High School Sports Athletics Association, but managed to punch above their weight class during the most recent WYSA indoor season when the team lost to the eventual winners in the semi-finals of the Championship Division. She has been nominated for a number of awards through school sports, ranging from athletic to leadership to academic merit, so it's quite clear the Blazers are bringing in another complete package student-athlete into the program with Desrosiers.
