Blazers in the Community
Each CMU athletic team volunteers with a community organization as a way of acting out our Christian desire to share our lives and talents with others. In the past teams have played soccer with new immigrants to Canada; volunteered at a soup kitchen or Habitat for Humanity Re-Store; donated blood; or played basketball and volleyball with inmates at local prisons or youth detention centres. It's a way for us to share our gifts and skills with the community—not just keep them to ourselves.
