On Wednesday, the newest regional conference of the CCAA, the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference, released their 2019 Women's Soccer schedule. There will be no rest for the defending 2018 Champions from CMU, who will kickoff the new season on home turf at the Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex on September 7th under the leadership of fifth year co-head coaches Lianna Bestvater and Cara Isaak.

Men's Basketball Lifted With Signing Of The Pas' Leader

Men's Basketball head coach Scott Martin believes the sky is the limit for The Pas' Chance Leader who helped his high school, Margaret Barbour Collegiate, to a Zone 11 Championship earlier this year. "Chance was actually the first player that I connected with about joining us at CMU after being hired in April," said Martin. "So it is great to have things finalized now and have him signed." The lanky 6'4 forward also led the Trojans to a first-place finish at the Bill McDonald Tournament with Leader coming away with Most Valuable Player honours.

Pagé and Snider Soar Into World Ultimate Disc Championships With Team Canada

Count on Matthew Pagé to be all in for the start of the 2019-20 CMU Men's Volleyball season, but before that time arrives, the second-year leftside is in the final days of preparation for the upcoming World Under-24 Ultimate Championships in Heidelberg, Germany where he will shed his kneepads and lace up his cleats as a member of Team Canada. Joining the fresh-faced Pagé is an accomplished veteran of the National Team program, Quinn Snider. Still a CMU student, Snider has put aside his volleyball training entirely in pursuit of Ultimate, where he recently linked on as a professional, catching discs and scoring goals south of the border.
