Blazers MSC Rustle Up Talented Midfielder before Season Kickoff
The CMU Men's Soccer program is very pleased to announce the commitment of Messager Mumbere for the 2024-25 MCAC season. The local talent with CCAA experience will look to be a big presence in the middle of the pitch for the Blazers this year.
A 2022 graduate of Sturgeon Heights, Mumbere suited up with the Huskies for his varsity indoor seasons in grades ten and twelve, as well as his final year for outdoor. The MHSAA "AAAA" school were winners of the indoor Championship division in his grade ten season, and followed that great team campaign with another good season personally, as he was named the Championship division top scorer for his final year in high school indoor soccer.

Blazers WSC Looking for More in the Back of the Net with Blackmore
The CMU Women's Soccer program is very pleased to announce the commitment of Madeline Blackmore for the 2024-25 MCAC season. The BoniVital product and Beliveau Barracuda will add more scoring touch to the Blazers lineup on what's shaping up to be an already talent-laden squad.
A graduate of College Beliveau this past June, her Barracuda team were semi-finalists in the SCAC zone of MHSAA's "AAA" division this past outdoor high school season. The team's striker and captain led the charge for Beliveau, showcasing her dedicated team leadership and aggressive offensive play.

Blazers MVB Find their Missing Piece
The CMU Men's Volleyball program is very pleased to announce the commitment of Michael Hwang for the 2024-25 MCAC season. The Miles Mac Buckeyes, Bison Club, and Team Manitoba libero will look to help his new squad by providing consistent passing and digging out of the Blazers' backcourt.
Hwang serves as the final piece of the puzzle for Blazers head coach Don Dulder, as he completes the monumental task of replacing eight rostered players from last year's team, either graduated or not returning to the squad this fall. Hwang will replace outgoing libero Brock Carmichael, and is expected to be plugged directly into the starting lineup, completing the Blazers' young but talented turnaround team this coming season. Hwang, along with his new teammates will look to return to MCAC dominance but will have a tough task ahead of them overtaking the defending champions Pilots, who are expected to return a lineup as good or better than their 2023-24 team.

The European talent will add some length up front for the Blazers as a scoring threat down the wing or at striker, and continues a tradition of Albania-born student-athletes to suit up in the Green and Gold.

Blazers MBB Bring in Local Talent with International Experience
The CMU Men's Basketball program is very pleased to announce the commitment of Mekhi Lisan for the 2024-25 MCAC and NIAC seasons. The Blazers are adding a dynamic point guard in Lisan, with American prep school and Team Manitoba experience, which he'll look to translate to the court here at home in front of family and friends for the first time in years.
