Blazers women's soccer had an early start to their off-season signings, with outgoing head coach Jason Moist lining up a solid slate of new recruits for the 2025/26 edition of the team prior to his departure in early spring. Now at the helm, Peter Marinelli must put the pieces in place to try and improve the team further heading into the MCAC season, as they attempt to hoist the Championship trophy for the first time since 2018 and for the first time in the CCAA era.

Blazers men's soccer has been one of the more active programs this off-season, with recruiting for the 2025/26 squad beginning back in November, and it continued to add pieces throughout the winter and spring. The Blazers were back in the MCAC playoffs this past October, and are hoping to compete for the MCAC title once again, last captured by CMU in 2018.

The Blazers were back in the MCAC Finals this past February, and are hoping to land another spot at the 2026 CCAA Nationals next March, when the tournament comes to Manitoba for the first time.

Although it may just seem like summer is around the corner, Blazers Men's Volleyball has been on a recruiting hot streak filling their roster for the 2025/26 season. After a historic run at the 2025 CCAA Men's Volleyball Nationals, new head coach Jack Tyrrell will have his work cut out for him in topping the 2024/25 team's success on the national level, but there's a lot that needs to happen between now and next March that will determine how this year's team performs.

Jack Tyrrell Steps Up as New Era Begins for Men's Volleyball Program
The CMU Men's Volleyball program is pleased to announce Jack Tyrrell the successor to longtime head coach Don Dulder, as the rising star in the local coaching scene proved his worth assisting Dulder in preparing the Blazers for their 2025 CCAA Nationals run.
Tyrrell has quickly moved up the ranks within the program, first as a player between 2017-2020 when his tenacity and game-sense were first noticed by the athletics staff. His well-rounded game as a player had him slot in throughout the lineup, including most frequently as libero and middle, two positions often considered polar opposites. Tyrrell's teams captured three championship titles during his four years as a student-athlete, including Dulder's first in 2017, then again in 2018 and 2020.
