The CMU Women's Volleyball program is very pleased to announce the commitment of Sofia Ertulova for the 2021-22 MCAC season.  The versatile outside hitter is completing her final year of high school as part of the Vincent Massey Collegiate Trojans, but got her junior varsity experience at College Jeanne-Sauve before transferring to Vincent Massey in the fall of 2019.

Graduate Profile: Jessica Edel, Women's Volleyball

Jessica Edel is finishing on top. Though she is saddened by the loss of 2020-21 season the native of Morris, Manitoba is incredibly grateful for her time as a Blazer. She was able to make a significant contribution to her team's success on the court and she finished her career with an MCAC Women's Volleyball Championship last February.

New Women's Volleyball Libero Adds To CMU's Deep Roster

Known for her determination her tireless work-ethic, St. Paul's Collegiate libero Ava Hamilton has signed her letter of intent to be a part of the CMU Blazer women's volleyball program, competing in the MCAC for 2021-22. 

As a varsity athlete, Hamilton helped her Elie, Manitoba high school win several tournaments and zone championships during her career and was selected the Barons' Most Valuable Player on multiple occasions. She was also able to translated that indoor success to the sand, winning a beach volleyball silver medal with her partner in 2019.

Former Club National Champion Takes Next Step At CMU

The CMU Women's Volleyball program is very pleased to announce the commitment of Brooklyn De Jong for the 2021-22 MCAC season. A 2019 graduate of Winnipeg's River East Collegiate, de Jong brings a resume that includes one season of MCAC experience after the 5'10 middle spent 2019-20 with the Providence Pilots.

Success has followed De Jong throughout her high school and club career, beginning in Grade 9 when the Kodiaks lifted a provincial championship. River East would qualify for the Manitoba provincial championships over her next two seasons and in De Jong's final season, she was fortunate enough to be selected as a Graduating All-star and the recipient of the Coaches' Choice Award.
