Versatile Bonivital Defender Will Add Grit And Versatility to Men's Soccer Roster

The CMU Men's Soccer Program is very happy to announce the commitment of Bonivital Soccer Club's under-18 defender Roy Miller for the 2016 MCAC season. Miller and his PR1 u18 boys team were recently eliminated from the WYSA Boys Indoor Playoffs in the semifinal and will soon begin preperations for the WYSA outdoor campaign.

An upset win on Saturday night vaulted the Fort Richmond Centurions into their first MHSAA 'AAAA' Final Four appearance in nine years. Now the CMU Men's Basketball program is very pleased to announce the commitment of two members of the semifinal winners have signed letters of intent to join the Blazers for the 2016-17 season: 6'3 forwards Nick Bueno and Jaden Harms.

The CMU Men's Volleyball program is very happy to welcome Niverville Collegiate's Chris Giesbrecht into the fold for the 2016-17 MCAC season. Head Coach Don Dulder is very familiar with the Giesbrecht name, having coached Chris' older brothers Andrey and Mario in high school. The former Panthers head coach, Dudler is thrilled to finally have the third Giesbrecht in his rotation.

Women's Basketball is very pleased to announce the commitment of Oak Park Raiders forward Kirsten Balness for the 2016-17 season. "Kirsten is a great athlete with excellent basketball skills," says head coach Joe Di Curzio, "she has the versatility that allows her to be an inside player or outside player."

There has been a gradual improvement for the women's futsal team since they first stepped on the court in November to host the 2015 Canadian Grasslands Cup and finished in fourth-place in the four team tournament. Three months later, the squad prepares for another run at a trophy, but with a new confidence and expectation.
The Blazers began their 2016 Copa de la Paz tournament with two wins in Brandon. 6-4 winners over the Brandon Bobcats in their opening tournament round-robin match and 5-3 winners over the ACC Cougars.
