A Roster Addition As The Women's Volleyball Season Approaches Fast

With university classes beginning in just over two weeks, the CMU Women's Volleyball team is very pleased to announce the signing of Niverville Collegiate's Kyla Fast for the 2016-17 MCAC season. A 5'7 setter, Fast is also a very capable defensive player who can help the Blazers out in the back row this season.

Fast helped the Panthers to a solid 2015 season in her Grade 12 year that included a fourth place finish in the Manitoba High School 'AA' Girls provincials, a run of four consecutive tournament wins and a second place finish in her 2015 Zone Championships. For her outstanding play and leadership, Fast was selected as a Volleyball Manitoba 'A-AAA' Graduating All-star.

Westgate Hitter, An Ultimate Addition To 2016 Men's Volleyball Squad

Westgate Wings Outside Hitter, Quinn Snider is the most recent recruit to sign his name to the 2016-17 Men's Volleyball roster; a team with high expectations as they enter their MCAC campaign. The athletic 6'2 attacker powered the Wings to a second-place finish in Zone 12 and on to the final of the 2015 'AAA' Boys Manitoba High School Athletics Association Provincial Championship in Swan River, earning himself a Manitoba Volleyball 2015 Graduating Allstar Selection.

Men's Soccer Welcomes Sao Paolo's Samba Brothers Into 2016 Squad

CMU Men's Soccer is very pleased to announce the recent commitment of brothers Juliano Junior (left) and Jonathan Felipe de Souza (right) for the 2016 MCAC campaign. The Brazilians spent the 2015 college season at Kansas's Cloud County Community College where the T-Birds compete in the US NJCAA (National Junior College Athletics Association).

Men's Basketball head coach Billy Isaac believes that Faith Academy point guard Ridel Ebreo can lead his offense into the 2016-17 MCAC and NIAC seasons. Women's Volleyball Squad Bolstered By Former MBCI Hawks Outside Hitter

After improving by five wins in their 2015-16 season, the CMU women's volleyball team would like to announce the signing of former MBCI Hawk and Brandon Bobcat outside hitter, Katie Reeves for the upcoming MCAC campaign.

5'8 Reeves capped her high school career by lifting MBCI to the 2014 MHSAA 'AAAA' Girls Provincial Championship Final in her grade 12 season, earning selection as a 2015 Manitoba Volleyball Graduating All-star and a further honour of being ranked as the #4 high school player in the province by The Winnipeg Sun in their annual Top Ten Players poll.
