Men's Basketball Rebounds To Defeat Red River In NIAC Quarterfinal

After Red River's Steve Williamson tied the 2018 NIAC Men's Basketball quarterfinals 72-72 with 18 seconds remaining on the game clock, Kniel Sullera knocked down one of two free throws and stole the inbound pass at the buzzer to give CMU a 73-72 win, sending the #6 seed into today's Championship Semifinal.

Rookies Roll As Women's Basketball Push Themselves Into NIAC Semis

Julia Schatkowsky and Shirliz Apiyo came off the bench to help Women's Basketball take control of the game in the second quarter as #3 CMU cruised to an 81-55 win over #6 Turtle Mountain on Thursday afternoon to advance to the 2018 NIAC Semifinals.

The Blazers were in need of a spark after the Mikinocks Julia Davis' three-point play tied the game 11-11 late in the first quarter. Momentum began to swing back to CMU after Kiara Rongavilla knocked down her first three-pointer of the game before the buzzer sounded. The Sisler Spartans product would score another before the half and end the game with 19 points on 8 of 11 shooting from the field.

Women's Futsal Clinches First-Place After Seventh Consecutive Win

With three matches remaining in the round robin portion of the MCAC's 2018 Copa de la Paz, Women's Futsal secured their hold on top spot last Friday night after their 6-2 win at Providence University College over the Pilots. With the victory, the Blazers improved their perfect record to 7-0-0 for 21 points and will look for their eighth straight win tonight when they tackle the 2017 Champions at Red River College.

Talented Trio Sign Letters Of Intent With Women's Volleyball For 2018-19

As Women's Volleyball approaches the final weekend of the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference Regular Season, the Blazers are thrilled to announce the commitments of Annika Loeppky (left), Alana Porritt (middle) and Bryce Paterson (right) for 2018-19.

A 5'10 setter from the powerful Lord Selkirk Royals program, Annika Loeppky led her team to KPAC Championship victories in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and entered the MHSAA AAAA Girls Provincials as the #2 ranked team last November. During her time with the Royals, Loeppky received MVP honours at the LSRCSS home tournament, was voted team MVP, Female Athlete of the Year and then finished it off with a MHSAAA Graduating All-star recognition in her final season.
