Women's Basketball Gains Commitment Of Dakota's Versatile All-Star
When Manitoba Basketball and the MHSAA gather on April 14th at St. Paul's High School for the Annual Graduating All-Star festivities, CMU's newest signing, Christina Klysh will be there to take part in the 2018 'AAAA' Girls festivities. The 5'8 combo guard, helped her team to the SCAC Champions Final last month, scoring an average of 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists per game in her Grade 12 season.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Concepción and his family immigrated to finish high school at Winnipeg's Fort Richmond Collegiate, but not before the attacking midfielder impressed as a high school soccer star in his homeland.

Much was expected of the CMU Women's Futsal team entering the 2018 Copa de la Paz Championship playoffs this weekend, and the number-one ranked team didn't disappoint, scoring a 3-1 win over the Brandon Bobcats in Saturday's semifinal and then topping the USB Rouges 5-2 in yesterday's Championship Final to lift their first-ever Conference Championship Futsal Trophy.

The 5'9 Morden Collegiate guard averaged 26 points per game for her 'AAA' high school season for the Thunder who went undefeated through their 2018 regular season before dropping a close decision in the interzone championships last weekend.
