Blazers' Futsallers Off To Canadian Club Nationals With Rovers FC

After winning Manitoba's Inaugural Provincial Club Futsal Championship in January, Winnipeg's Rovers Futsal Club are about to become part of history as their province's first representatives at the Canadian Club National Championships this weekend in Kingston, Ontario. The roster has strong connections to the Manitoba Colleges Athletics Conference as 11 of the 13 players are current or former players of the province's established league. Among those 11 are CMU's Robbie Friesen and Stefan Schuler.

Women's Soccer Introduces Productive Pair To The 2018 Roster

Fresh off their first Copa de la Paz Championship in MCAC Women's Futsal, the CMU Women's Soccer team is pleased to announce the commitment of former River East Kodiak Kezia Balzer (left) and former Kelvin Clipper Melissa Gilbert (right) for the 2018 season.

Balzer captained the Kodiaks to consecutive Manitoba High School Provincial Championship berths during her time at River East Collegiate. The left-back was also part of the Winnipeg Phoenix Premier Club program to the under-15 level.

Kampen Steps Down After Three Strong Seasons Leading Women's Volleyball

Evelyn Kampen has been a big part of the CMU Athletics program for six seasons. Three years as the MCAC's most dominant outside hitter and after two seasons of professional volleyball in Europe, a return to CMU for three years as a head coach. Last month Kampen confirmed that she will be moving onto other ventures. She leaves a legacy of success and has built a strong foundation for the program's future.

Women's Basketball Gains Commitment Of Dakota's Versatile All-Star

When Manitoba Basketball and the MHSAA gather on April 14th at St. Paul's High School for the Annual Graduating All-Star festivities, CMU's newest signing, Christina Klysh will be there to take part in the 2018 'AAAA' Girls festivities. The 5'8 combo guard, helped her team to the SCAC Champions Final last month, scoring an average of 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists per game in her Grade 12 season.

Men's Soccer Inks Dynamic Member Of Bonivital National Championship Team

Men's Soccer is very excited to announce the commitment of Bonivital Soccer Club's Yeri Concepción for the 2018-19 MCAC Soccer and Futsal seasons. Born in the Dominican Republic, Concepción and his family immigrated to finish high school at Winnipeg's Fort Richmond Collegiate, but not before the attacking midfielder impressed as a high school soccer star in his homeland.
