CMU Men's Basketball is very happy to announce the commitment of Murdoch MacKay's Houston Friend for the 2021-22 NIAC and MCAC seasons. The versatile 6'2" guard and wing comes to CMU with a maturity and hard-working attitude that will serve him well on the team helmed by head coach Scott Martin.

That's not the case for CMU men's basketball guard Binh Nguyen, who now finds himself playing professional basketball in the VBA in his native country of Vietnam.

It's official! The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) was unanimously voted to be included in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) National Championships for the 2021-22 seasons and moving forward in the sports of women's and men's soccer, as well as women's and men's volleyball. The vote occurred at the national governing body's annual general meeting this past week.

The CMU Women's Volleyball program is very pleased to announce the commitment of Sofia Ertulova for the 2021-22 MCAC season. The versatile outside hitter is completing her final year of high school as part of the Vincent Massey Collegiate Trojans, but got her junior varsity experience at College Jeanne-Sauve before transferring to Vincent Massey in the fall of 2019.

A product of Winnipeg's River East Collegiate, Jaterka brings additional size to the Blazers attakers as well as valuable leadership qualities that will certainly help the young squad.
