Men's Volleyball Grows Adding Three From Across The Province
CMU head coach Don Dulder announced the commitments of a trio of additions to the Blazers Men's Volleyball program this week as the team embarks on their first competitive season in the MCAC that includes a CCAA National Championship berth for the Manitoba provincial champions. The three newest Blazers hail from across Manitoba; Morris High School's, Bryce Neustater, Treherne Collegiate Institute's, Quinton Lawson-Haddock and Shaftesbury High School's, Stephen Ingram.

Newest Men's Volleyball Recruit Will Add to the Winning Formula
Coming off his third conference championship banner in the past four seasons, CMU head coach Don Dulder continues to build towards 2021-22, today announcing the signing of Fort Richmond Collegiate's Duncan Petrie. The 6'1 opposite hitter showed himself to be an emerging force with the Centurions during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, helping his south-Winnipeg high school to a WWAC Championship as a Grade 10 player and being recognized as Fort Richmond's Most Improved Player in Grade 11.

Men's Volleyball Jumps To Saskatchewan To Sign Martens
Markus Martens is eager to get back on the court. After missing his senior season of high school volleyball to the nationwide pandemic restrictions, the athletic leaper has signed his letter of intent to join the CMU Blazers for the 2021-22 MCAC season.
Don Dulder has high hopes for the middle attacker; "We have graduated a few of the middles that have been with our program for quite a few years, both last year and coming up this spring," said the veteran CMU head coach. "Markus has the athleticism and talent to contribute in a big way and could step right into our regular rotation next season."

Looking Ahead: Men's Volleyball Announces First Recruit of 2021-22
Just days after the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference announced the cancellation of the 2020-21 regular seasons, attention is turning to 2021-22, hilighted by the unveiling of CMU's first recruit, Linden Christian's Caleb Kirton. Kirton has honed his skills most recently with local Winnipeg club program, Tsunami and spent previous seasons at 204 and Winman Volleyball Club.

MCAC Votes For January Start Over Previously Scheduled Season
The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference met on Friday, voting in a newly planned 2020-21 volleyball schedule that would begin play on January 15th rather than the previously scheduled volleyball season due to start play in November.
Many factors led to this inevitable decision, none more critical than the current stage of the approved return-to-competition plans in the sport.
