Marx-Houndle Puts Pen To Paper As Women's Basketball's Most Recent Addition

CMU Women's Basketball is very happy to announce the commitment of Westwood Collegiate's Jessica Marx-Houndle for the 2016-17 season. Selected as an honourable-mention on the Winnipeg Sun's annual Top Ten list, Marx-Houndle recently helped her Westwood Warriors to a third-place finish in their conference, qualifying for the 2016 MHSAA "AAAA" Girls Provincial Championships.

Jack Tyrrell is the latest recruit to commit to CMU Men's Volleyball for 2016-17 as the Blazers continue to add talented and versatile players to a squad expecting to be at or near the top of the MCAC next season. The 6'1 middle attacker / libero from Winnipeg's Linden Christian High School brings a high-level of athleticism and flexibility and is already quite familiar with many of his new CMU teammates.

CMU Women's Basketball is very happy to welcome Glenlawn Collegiate's Katelyn Campbell, as their most recent addition to the 2016-17 roster. A member of the Manitoba Provincial team at the under 14 and under 16 level, Campbell was part of a bronze medal performance in Edmonton and helped Team 'Toba to a Western Canada Games silver medal in Kamloops in 2013.

The CMU Men's Soccer Program is very happy to announce the commitment of Bonivital Soccer Club's under-18 defender Roy Miller for the 2016 MCAC season. Miller and his PR1 u18 boys team were recently eliminated from the WYSA Boys Indoor Playoffs in the semifinal and will soon begin preperations for the WYSA outdoor campaign.

An upset win on Saturday night vaulted the Fort Richmond Centurions into their first MHSAA 'AAAA' Final Four appearance in nine years. Now the CMU Men's Basketball program is very pleased to announce the commitment of two members of the semifinal winners have signed letters of intent to join the Blazers for the 2016-17 season: 6'3 forwards Nick Bueno and Jaden Harms.
