Men's Basketball Program Ready To Put Their Faith In Rookie Guard

Men's Basketball head coach Billy Isaac believes that Faith Academy point guard Ridel Ebreo can lead his offense into the 2016-17 MCAC and NIAC seasons. Women's Volleyball Squad Bolstered By Former MBCI Hawks Outside Hitter

After improving by five wins in their 2015-16 season, the CMU women's volleyball team would like to announce the signing of former MBCI Hawk and Brandon Bobcat outside hitter, Katie Reeves for the upcoming MCAC campaign.

5'8 Reeves capped her high school career by lifting MBCI to the 2014 MHSAA 'AAAA' Girls Provincial Championship Final in her grade 12 season, earning selection as a 2015 Manitoba Volleyball Graduating All-star and a further honour of being ranked as the #4 high school player in the province by The Winnipeg Sun in their annual Top Ten Players poll.

Men's Basketball Continues To Put Final Touches On 2016-17 Roster

As many high school students around the province are busy preparing for Graduation 2016, Vincent Massey Collegiate's Bryden Bukich made time this week to suit up and sign on with the CMU men's basketball program for the 2016-17 MCAC and NIAC seasons.

After finishing sixth in their zone, the Vincent Massey Trojans advanced the the 2016 MHSAA 'AAAA' Boys Provincials last season. Ranked #9 in Manitoba, Bukich and the Trojans upset the #8 ranked Dakota Lancers before bowing out of the quarterfinals with a loss to the eventual 2016 Provincial Champions, John Taylor Pipers.

 As Women's Basketball begins to focus their attention on a new challenge south of the border for the 2016-17 season, head coach Joe Di Curzio continues to add strong, athletic recruits to the Blazers roster.
