Blazers wrap up their 2022/23 seasons

With MCAC and NIAC Championships all completed, the dust has finally settled on the 2022/23 varsity seasons, which gives us reason to take a look at some highlights of the past six months.

Blazers soccer started the season in September as always, and both teams came out of the gate a bit slowly waiting until their first matchups with the Assiniboine Community College Cougars in week two to pick up points on the season.

Blazers Teams Getting Set for Championships

It's another busy weekend for Blazers Athletics as championship season begins for basketball while futsal and volleyball look to finish their seasons strong.

Canadian Mennonite University's Loewen Athletic Centre will be the location for the upcoming 2022/23 MCAC Basketball Championships, which start on Friday night with semi-finals set for 6:00 and 8:00 ahead of the main event on Sunday night.

Blazers See Busy Start to 2023

Although we are only a few days into the second semester of classes, the Blazers were busy over the break, culminating with a big slate of exhibitions this past weekend.

Both women's and men's volleyball squads took to the skies on Thursday and safely reached Toronto where they went their separate ways; the women East along Lake Ontario to Oshawa where they were competing in the Durham College Cup, while the men headed to the Niagara peninsula to meet OCAA competition at the Niagara Knights Invitational.
