Women's Basketball Scores Kodiak All-Star

The CMU Women's Basketball Team is excited to announce the addition of River East's Emily Mann for the 2014-15 Season. The 5'8 guard completed a stellar high school career last spring culminating with a KPAC All-Star Selection, as she led the Kodiaks offensively averaging 22 points per game.

"Emily makes great decisions and has excellent vision on the court," said second-year head coach Joe Di Curzio, "not only is she a terrific decision-maker, she is developing into a great outside shooter."

Mann captained Team Interlake at the 2012 Manitoba Games and was selected to Team Manitoba 15U's in 2011. She helped the Kodiaks to a third-place finish in her grade 12 season at the Maples Tournament as well as the St. Mary's Tournament, where she also received Tournament All-Star honours.

The CMU Women's Basketball Team opens their 2014-15 Manitoba Colleges season on home court versus the University of Winnipeg on Saturday, October 25th.
