Campus Rec

There are a number of ways to get active on campus!

All students at CMU can use the Fitness Room, Gym, and outdoor soccer field during non-scheduled times at no charge. If you are not a student-athlete, but wish to use these spaces, see the folks at North Reception. They will give you a waiver form to sign and, in exchange for your signed form, you will receive the Fitness Room access code and have gym access added to your student card.

The Sports & Recreation Committee of Student Council hosts free activities for all students, including badminton, volleyball, dodgeball, spikeball, and more! Check the Events Calendar on the Student Hub for details. During the winter, cross-country skis and snowshoes can be checked out on South Side at no charge. Contact stucopres:@:student.cmu.ca for more details.

CMU is located right next to the Assiniboine Forest, which has a plethora of trails for running, biking, walking, and cross-country skiing for all to use.

All CMU students get free admission to all Blazers home games. Come out, get loud, and support your classmates.
