Blazers Athletics Enters Partnership with FanWord to Elevate Blazers Storytelling

WINNIPEG, Manitoba —Blazers Athletics has signed a three-year agreement with FanWord, one of the leading AI technology and storytelling companies in college sports. Through this partnership, the Blazers will implement FanWord Assist, FanWord's AI-powered content creation platform, to enhance and expand storytelling across all of their athletic programs.

FanWord Assist streamlines the production of game recaps, award nominations, feature stories, and player bios, giving athletic communications teams the ability to create more high-quality content with greater speed and consistency. With the platform's AI-powered tools and customizable workflows, CMU will be better equipped to spotlight the achievements, personalities, and journeys of its student-athletes, coaches, and teams throughout the MCAC season and beyond.

The three-year commitment makes CMU the newest member of a rapidly growing network of more than 200 athletics organizations across all levels partnering with FanWord. In Canada, the Blazers join fellow FanWord partners like Acadia University, Western University, UBC Okanagan, Trinity Western University, and Durham College — further extending FanWord's footprint in Canadian college sports.
